Coding and Compliance Analyst - Hybrid Position

We are seeking to add another Coding and Compliance Analyst with extensive experience in coding and compliance audits. As a full time benefited employee, you will be working closely with practice managers, physicians, and non-physician practitioners and will be a member of our growing team.

 

The Coding and Compliance Analyst, uses a combination of regulatory, coding, documentation and billing knowledge, will help ensure our clients’ compliance through ongoing audits and education of physicians, non-physician practitioners and office staff. Responsibilities may include providing input on the development of each client’s annual audit plan, assistance with payer audit/documentation requests (i.e., TP&E, SMRC), Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) ICD-10-CM codes and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs), and research on applicable healthcare regulations.

 

Our reputation is based on providing the most current and updated information to our clients and others in the health care industry nationwide.  As a key member of the team you must be a strategic thinker with the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing conditions.  While most work is remote, this is a team environment, so the successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively to help ensure the firm’s clients’ coding accuracy and compliance with the relevant rules and regulations. 

 

 

EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATIONS

 

• 3+ years in coding and chart auditing

• CPC required.  CPMA or CRC desired

• Manage projects independently and prepare client reports

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently or as an active member of a team

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
