Nicholas Carroll, CPC

​

Nick has over 20 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement and has been CPC certified since 1998. Nick started his career as a medical coder and soon started a medical billing company as he quickly realized the complexity of our health care reimbursement system, and the need for someone with a commitment to assist providers in optimizing reimbursement while remaining compliant.   In the eighteen (18) years Nick had his billing company he assisted providers nationwide in submitting “clean claims,” collecting all the reimbursement they were entitled to, and avoiding denials and unnecessary appeals.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in professional fee billing, coding, credentialing and revenue cycle management to the Acevedo Consulting team.   Nick’s focus is on assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each client’s internal revenue cycle processes and making recommendations for improvement.  His experience and insight proves to be invaluable to the firm’s clients as they try to work within the payers’ myriad rules and requirements.
