Daniel McCain

Daniel McCain, J.D., brings more than a decade of combined experience in healthcare compliance, contract review, legal support, and state and federal regulatory compliance to Acevedo Consulting Incorporated. His expertise encompasses compliance program development, risk assessments, policy and procedure development, HIPAA/HITECH and OSHA compliance, and the development and implementation of corrective action plans.

His legal background and hands-on healthcare compliance experience enable him to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical policies and workflows that are clear, effective, and well suited for physician and staff education and implementation. In addition, his contract experience provides valuable insight into identifying potential risks, reviewing vendor agreements, evaluating contract language, and supporting negotiations. This combination of compliance expertise, legal knowledge, and contract experience will be a valuable addition to ACI, enhancing our ability to address healthcare compliance from both a regulatory and business-risk perspective.

Daniel earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma. Originally from Oklahoma, Daniel and his fiancée recently relocated to sunny South Florida, where they look forward to enjoying the beautiful coastline and the many water sports and outdoor activities the area has to offer.
