Cristina Sarria, CPC, CPMA, CRC has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a varied background in physician private practice. She is fluent in English and Spanish and adds diversity to the Acevedo Consulting Incorporated team.

 

After her formal billing & coding training she worked in a rheumatology practice and quickly took on the responsibility of the entire Revenue Cycle Management process.

 

Years later, she moved into a corporate environment as a coder in a Management Services Organization (MSO) for Primary Care Practice affiliates to assist in managing costs and compliance risks for Managed Care Beneficiaries, as well as affiliates under an Accountable Care Organization contract. She went on to become the Coding Manager to streamline processes, creating protocols and workflows for her team.

 

Her experience ranges from billing, coding, auditing, revenue cycle management, Medicare, Medicaid, contracting and credentialing. She is excited to share her expertise in HEDIS, and Risk Adjustment, including insight in compliance, provider education, and ancillary staff training.

Cristina is a highly driven and passionate Associate Consultant who joined our firm in March of 2024 and looks forward to providing impactful services to the firm's clients, hoping to exceed all their expectations.
