Shelly joins ACI with more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has exceptional regulatory research skills and industry knowledge of all fee-for-service, value-based, capitated and other reimbursement methodologies for inpatient and outpatient hospital services, physician and non-physician practitioner services, nursing home, home health and hospice, ambulatory surgery centers, and other health care providers. Her knowledgeable of revenue cycle operations and revenue integrity functions including charge master, denial management and compliance audit and monitoring.

 

Shelly's understanding of compliance activities provides her with a perfect background for education and auditing oversight. Ms. Asbury is a national conference speaker, webinar presenter and provider educator whose passion for the practice translates in everything she does.

 

As a member of several committees, including those for the AAPC, AHIMA, FCSO, and CMS, Shelly has the ability to provide insight on all facets of the healthcare world.
